Can't believe she outed me.

It may be a secret to some of you but, one of my closest friends would be our own Hot Tub Lizzy.

There is usually not a day that we don't talk. Did you guys know that we watch American Idol together every week? Yes we do while IM'ing and critiquing every single contestant. Her in NC and me here in Bama. It is seriously some good times people.

She is one of the most amazing people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She has talked me off the ledge a many a time when some days I just feel like I am completely losing it. She's quick to tell me to pick my butt off the floor and get on with it already. I love her for that and for the fact that she does the best cross-eyed face ever.

Last night while we were watching AI together and then the Bozo Bachelor I was trying to think of something to post. Now Richard was over on the love seat and he kept telling me to post about what happened at work.

Well I told Lizzy what happened and she thought it was classic. And when I didn't blog about it she outed me for all of you to know that the Dear Cancer post was not my original plan. So for all of your inquiring minds here it is.

I have been sick with this awful Sinus infection since Saturday. I haven't been sleeping worth a flip.

So yesterday at work I got my lunch and was sitting in the back of our office. I ate very little cause nothing taste good and my throat hurts from all the drainage. Well I was tired. T. I. R. E. D.

So I laid my head down on the table. I fell asleep for I have no idea how long.

I woke myself up snoring very loudly. And from where I was laying on my arm, the right side of my face had all the red lines and imprints from my shirt that I had on.

And as I lift my head to look my co-workers are there glaring at me as I proceed to clean the nice little puddle of drool off the table and from my chin.

Best. Power. Nap EVER!

Then I returned to my desk front and center after fixing my hair and proudly displaying the sleep lines on my face.

Embarrassed?

Yes that would be me.

Dear Cancer,

Today I didn't even know you existed. Richard has been feeling so good lately it is hard to get glimpses of you and your evil ways.

But tonight, oh yes tonight you just had to give us a little reminder.

The pain patch has been doing wonders. It still is.

However I don't appreciate the nausea that you are making my hubby feel. That's ok though cause we have a drug for that too.

ZOFRAN baby!

Are you scared now? No? Well you should be.

We may not beat you in this fight for life.

But you will not tear us down.

Our Faith is strong and unbreakable by all of your evil ways.

God is good even through the trenches of this.

Through Christ alone, Kori

PS. You still SUCK!

This & That

Yep I admit it.

I should have listened to all of you.

Cause well... you were right.

Once again I am sick.

This time with a Sinus Infection.

Had to go to the 7 day clinic on Saturday.

Got 2 shots and a prescription for a Z-pack.

And even the Doctor told me I needed to slow down and rest.

I'm trying. Promise!

I am feeling some better today. Haven't ran any fever. Sneezing 500 times a day. But at least the junk is on the move outta there.

I have got the majority of things done on my to do list. And the rest will be done this weekend.

YAY!

We have decided to leave a day early. On the 13th. Friday the 13th. Do ya'll think that's bad? I'm not superstitious. I got God on my side. It's all good.

But we're gonna leave a day early to split the trip up a little for Richard's sake. So we're gonna drive about halfway to Valdsota (any of my fellow bloggers live near here? Would love to meet up for dinner or something. How cool would that be?) on that Friday spend the night at a hotel their and then get up Saturday morning and drive the rest of the way to Richard's Aunt Molly's. We're gonna spend Saturday night with her and from what I heard I will be having a Birthday dinner there with all of the Hubby's family. Gonna be 29. WHOA Nelly. How exciting right?

A whole week full of Birthday celebrations spent at Disney. I mean does it get any better?

I have decided that I will remain 29 the rest of my life. Something about turning 30 scares me. Just so ya know.

On Sunday the 15th we will check in to our Hotel and spend our first day at the most magical place on Earth.

We can't wait!

10 DAYS TO GO. WHOO HOO!

Understanding?

Here lately I have been trying to be more understanding.

Because let's face it. Sometimes I just don't get it.

I don't think I'm meant to understand what is going on here in the Mc's household.

I have so many emotions that I can't even explain.

I am mad. And yes it does suck sometimes.

It's not that I'm mad at anyone it's just I don't get it.

I waited my whole life for this.

To be loved and to love with my whole heart in return.

And now it is slowly being taken away from me.

How can this be happening?

I do not ask why?

I just pray for a miracle.

I pray for another day and another and so on.

I pray that when the pain becomes to much that I will still be able to offer him some comfort.

I pray for my boys. Oh my sweet boys that love their Daddy more than anything.

Who's gonna tell them all about girls and their shenanigans?

Who's gonna teach them to drive a stick cause you know I don't know how?

How am I going to do this?

I pray for the peace that only God can give me?

Maybe I'm being selfish.

But all I want is to grow old with him.

I have always known that, that was probably not a possibility because of the CF but new strides are being made every day. Who knows how long we could have been together if it wasn't for the Cancer.

To watch our boys graduate High school/College, get married and have our beautiful gran babies.

Is that too much to ask?

It's not fair. What is fair anyways? Life isn't fair.

There are so many days when I don't think that I am strong enough to handle all this.

I don't want to be a 30 year old widow.

That was never the plan here.

I'm scared.

He's not.

I love him! God, I love him.

God give me peace and understanding.

God, thanks for letting me get it all out.

I love you still all the time regardless of it all because...

you love me all the time regardless of it all.

Amen!
